Florence Rose Brown, 84, of Findlay passed away at 4:05 a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2012 at her residence. She was born on August 13, 1927, to the late Earl and Agnes (Wangler) Heffner in Ottawa, OH. She married Rex E. Brown in January of 1953, and he survives. Florence is also survived by sons: Ronald E. (Connie) Brown of Florence, OR and David J. (Melissa) Brown of Zanesville; daughter, Linda Smith of Findlay; brother, Father George Heffner of Bay St. Louis, MS; sister, Barbara Eishen of Cygnet; and grandchildren: Cullen Brown, Hallie Phillips, Kylie Hockingberry, and Megan Hockingberry. She was also preceded in death by sister, Mary Miles (Heinze). Florence was a 1945 graduate of Findlay High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, where a Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Downtown at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012. Father Shaji Thomas will be celebrant and burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Findlay. Memorials may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
